About the Role
Practical Quality Management Systems (PQMS) is looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our data warehousing team and projects. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a data warehousing role with a minimum of two years in a supervisory position.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate activities of the data warehousing team.
Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company's data warehouses.
Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
Monitor system health and performance ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Assist with problem resolution related to data warehouse and business intelligence environments.
Create best practices for data loading and extraction, and develop ETL processes.
Collaborate with IT and business leadership to strategize data storage and governance.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools for effective data management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in data warehousing.
Proven supervisory experience with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Expertise in SQL and a strong understanding of relational and dimensional data models.
Knowledge of data warehouse tools and software.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
