About the Role
PQMS is seeking an experienced AS 9100:2016 Lead Quality Auditor to join our quality team. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards and at least 3 years of auditing experience. The position requires conducting internal audits, leading audit teams, and developing audit reports, contributing significantly to our quality management system.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and lead internal audits in accordance with AS9100:2016 standards and PQMS internal procedures.
Develop audit plans and checklists, conduct opening and closing meetings, and create comprehensive audit reports.
Identify non-conformities and opportunities for improvement, leading the development of appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Provide training and support to other auditors and quality team members.
Act as a point of contact for external auditors during audits and inspections.
Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
Participate in management reviews of the quality system.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lead Quality Auditor, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Certified Lead Auditor for AS 9100:2016.
Proven understanding of quality management systems and quality auditing techniques.
Exceptional knowledge of AS9100:2016 requirements and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
